Our Story

“Is it safe?” was always the wrong question.

The honest question is just two words longer — is it safe for me? Everything Enbodie builds begins with that difference.

The fork in the road

It began with some half‑used supplements and products.

Like a lot of people, our founder Darren came out of the pandemic changed. His sense of smell vanished completely, then came back different. His skin changed too — at 46 he started getting breakouts he’d never had, even as a teenager — alongside an itchy scalp that plainly wasn’t dandruff. So he started looking for answers.

One afternoon he gathered up the half-used bottles, tubes and tubs sitting around his bathroom and bedroom — everything from aftershaves to toothpastes, anti-ageing creams to shaving foam. £££s of personal-care products. Ingredients he’d never been taught to read, and claims he had no way to check — “dermatologist approved”, “organic”, “natural”. None of them with an honest answer to one simple question: is this actually right for me?

That was the fork. Do nothing — or question everything. He questioned everything. And what he found underneath was worse than the clutter.

Enbodie was built by a father and his children, with one conviction: “safe” should mean safe for you.
Real journeys · origin to you

Soil. Skin. Product. Person.

Everything that reaches your skin, your gut, your eyes and your bloodstream began somewhere else — a field, a mine, a barrel of oil — and travelled to you. Below are real journeys, each one held for a moment so you can follow it. Enbodie traces every step, so “is it safe?” can finally become “is it safe for me?”

The same four steps, every time — origin, ingredient, product, you.
Glyphosate sprayed on cotton has been found in tampons.
Heavy metals from pigments can ride along in lipstick.
Preservatives in mascara sit millimetres from the eye.
Emulsifiers in processed food can unsettle the gut.
Synthetic fragrance is a leading cause of skin sensitivity.
Aluminium salts are what stop antiperspirants from sweating.
The foam in toothpaste is a detergent meeting your mouth.
Some chemical UV filters absorb into skin — and harm reefs.
PPD in permanent hair dye is a common contact allergen.
Plasticisers keep nail polish flexible — and don’t stay put.

The rule of origin

A receipt for the truth — for products, and for people.

In global trade, a rule of origin is the certificate proving where something was genuinely made — why a sofa assembled across three countries can’t simply be stamped “Made in Italy”.

Enbodie does the same for health. Every figure and every recommendation arrives with a certificate of where the evidence actually came from — the study, the regulator, the standard.

Every product deserves a rule of origin. So does every person. And this is the Enbodie Trust Index.

The Enbodie Trust Index

The truth behind every product.
The power to choose better.
The Enbodie Index.

That same rule of origin, made into one independent score from A to E across six pillars — assessed from evidence and data, in plain sight.

What every score is built from
Safety

Toxicology & risk assessment of every ingredient.

Suitability

Personalisation & fit across the whole population.

Sourcing

Ingredient origins & supply-chain integrity.

Environmental

Integrity

Science & evidence behind the claims on the label.

Transparency

ENBODIETRUST INDEXB
Good
Strong across the pillars, with minor areas to improve. A reliable choice.

Trust score
ENBODIETRUST INDEXC

How the score is built

Weighted · evidenced · banded
01 · Weighted pillars
Each pillar carries weight

The six pillars combine into a single 0–100 score. Safety and integrity carry the most weight, because they matter most to the people using a product.

02 · Data quality
Every input is graded too

A score is only as good as its evidence, so each input is tagged by how well we know it — and thin evidence is never dressed up as certainty.

●●●Measured — lab or verified data
●●Reviewed — from published evidence
●●Estimated — inferred, lower confidence
03 · Banded A–E
The number becomes a grade

The 0–100 score lands in one of five bands, A to E. The grade is the at-a-glance answer; the full pillar breakdown and sources sit one tap behind it.

From one bathroom cabinet to everyone’s

Earlier, clearer awareness — right where prevention lives.

We’re building agentic AI for preventative health and longevity — turning the phone already in your pocket into personal exposure intelligence. Not to diagnose you. Not to replace your GP. Just earlier, evidence-aligned awareness in the bathroom, the kitchen, the pharmacy aisle and the mirror — staying ahead of symptoms and diagnosis.

And for the people health data has overlooked the longest.
Inclusion isn’t a feature we added — it’s the reason we started.
